Arizona Senior Olympics offers people fifty and better the opportunity to compete in thirty two sports events held each year beginning the third weekend in February. Competition is an important factor in this program of fitness through sports. It is the incentive that motivates so many seniors to begin and remain in their chosen fitness activities. Each year, this great competition motivates them to train more, reach farther, in pursuit of those goals they have set for themselves. It's not just about competing against others their age. It's about striving for their "personal best" time, score, height, weight or distance.
